In other words, it is about restraining yourself of eating for 16 hours or more. For example, you can eat beginning at 12PM and your last meal could be at 7PM. However, just keep in mind to consult with your primary Doctor to see if you are able to do this type of fasting since everyone's body and organism is different.
Benefits of doing this Intermittent Fasting:
It improves levels of insulin
Cellular repair
It helps you to live longer while your body begins to start developing growth hormones
It could lower your cholesterol levels
It could help you lose weight
I have tried this intermittent fasting and it helped me to lose weight over a period of time, I don't usually do it everyday, probably 2 to 3 times a week. In addition to this, keep in mind to keep eating healthy since intermittent fasting is about reducing calories. It wouldn't be worth it if you do it and then you eat burgers and fries and soda. This fasting is not for everyone, as I said before, it is better to talk to your doctor especially if you suffer of a health condition.
Moreover, you can drink coffee, tea, or just water during the time you are fasting, but do not add sugar to it! Sugar is not good for your health!
The most common side effect of intermittent fasting is hunger. People with certain medical conditions should not fast without consulting with a doctor first.
