As part of creating a healthy lifestyle, I have told you to do exercise, eat well and healthy, drink water, avoid stress, but there is something that I have not talked to you about: SLEEP
Many of you have probably heard from experts that sleep between 6 to 8 hours is good for our health since it keeps our brain ready to rumble the next day.
Do you want to sleep like a baby?

Well, just follow the following steps for you to sleep like the cute baby in the picture above.
Steps to have a better sleep:
Try to stick to a sleep schedule. Sleep at the same time everyday, I know it could be difficult since many of you probably have children or different schedules at work or school, but trying could make a difference.
Again eating and drinking habits can make a difference as well. Do not eat heavy food an hour or two prior going to sleep since your stomach can act funny and bother you all night. Also, avoid caffeine drinks like coffee before going to bed, not even green tea since it has a low percentage of caffeine still.
Avoid watching TV before going to sleep and put your cellphone away. Just relax, close your eyes and turn off the lights, stay away from your cellphone to help you sleep better.
Again including an exercise could help you sleep at night time, but do not even try to exercise just before going to sleep. It is not going to help you instead it would keep you and energize for longer hours. It actually happened to me!
Don't think about anything when trying to sleep, try to keep your mind block at least until you fall sleep since worrying about stuff could interfere with our sleep
Even if you are trying to do this list and you still cannot sleep, well! Keep in mind that there are some sleep disorders that only professionals can take care of. So, do not hesitate to call a doctor and make an appointment if you cannot sleep for longer hours.
