The Importance of Drinking Water

Probably many of you do not like to drink water or find it boring, and instead, you drink juices, sodas, or energized drinks. Let me tell you, I was that kind of person who thought water was unnecessary and boring to drink. However, experts and doctors have been trying to induce people to take water since this element is essential for the body, especially the brain.

According to Medical News Today, our body is made up of 60 percent of water, our body need to hydrate, but unfortunately most people do not drink enough water to ensure a good health. Certainly, water provides many benefits to our bodies, for example:

  • Helps to ensure a good function of internal organs

"Healthy Kidneys"

  • Provides a good looking skin and beauty

  • It helps you to lose weight


"Flushes away Toxins"


  • It maintains a normal blood pressure

  • It helps with your digestive system


"No more Heartburn"


 

Mayo Clinic states that women should drink 2 liters of water while men should drink 3 liters, or the 8 glasses of water that experts recommend. However, you have to keep in mind and recognize when your body ask or needs water. For instance, it is recommended to drink water while exercising since the body losses a lot of fluids that need to be replenished again.


Begin by drinking at least 1 liter of water daily ( or 4 glasses of water). Then, you can increase the amount of water you take, such as 8 glasses of water per day.


It doesn't matter how you take it, indeed, you can add lemon or lime, some berries, or/and cucumber to make it fun and tasty!
